The year 2025 marked a historic and unforgettable chapter in the journey of Lubango Pre & Primary English Medium School. Gathering parents, educators, religious leaders, and esteemed guests in Kisesa, Mwanza, the school proudly hosted a dual milestone celebration: our very first Standard Seven graduating class alongside our 11th Pre-Primary II (PPII) graduation class.
Guided by the foundational motto, “Fear of God is the Beginning of Wisdom,” the ceremony was a heartwarming testament to academic dedication, moral upbringing, and community unity.
1. A Historic First: Standard Seven Class of 2025
The highlight of the 2025 ceremony was honorably stepping into history as the school bid farewell to its pioneer Standard Seven class. Having completed seven years of rigorous primary education in a fully English-medium environment, these young leaders walked across the stage equipped with academic mastery, confidence, and strong moral grounding.
Teachers and parents shared tearful, proud moments reflecting on the students’ growth—from eager young learners in lower primary to mature, responsible graduates ready to excel in secondary school across Tanzania and beyond.
2. Honoring 11 Years of Early Childhood Excellence (PPII)
Graduation day was equally thrilling for our 11th Pre-Primary II (PPII) cohort. Clad in colorful gowns, the young graduates delighted attendees with lively recitations, songs, and speeches demonstrating their early language fluency and reading skills.
This 11th PPII milestone underscores Lubango’s sustained track record in early childhood development, proving year after year that a solid educational foundation early in life paves the path for long-term academic confidence.
3. Vibrant Performances and Student Showcases
The celebration showcased far more than certificates. The campus came alive with creative student presentations, including:
- English Drama & Debate: Demonstrating public speaking skills, creative expression, and critical thought.
- Traditional & Modern Performances: Honoring Tanzanian culture while celebrating diverse artistic talents.
- Spiritual & Moral Reflections: Reinforcing the spiritual values that shape the school’s daily discipline and ethos.
4. Recognizing Outstanding Achievements
A key moment during the ceremony was the presentation of awards recognizing excellence across multiple categories:
- Academic Excellence: Honoring top achievers across core subjects.
- Leadership & Character: Celebrating pupils who exemplified integrity, helpfulness, and respect.
- Parental & Teacher Recognition: Expressing gratitude to parents for their unwavering partnership and teachers for their selfless dedication.
Looking Ahead to the Future
The 2025 graduation ceremony was not just a celebration of past achievements—it was a bold step into the future. To our Standard Seven graduates, Lubango School extends its heartfelt blessings as you step into secondary education.
